The Racecraft Rider Development Junior Team debuted in the British Junior Supersport Championship in 2019. The principle of the team is to create a feeding system for Britain’s youngest motorcycling talent into the British Championship ranks. We want to reduce the size of the leap from Minibikes to full size machinery, by building a supportive and inspiring environment for young riders to develop and thrive.

The Racecraft Team embarks on its second journey in to the 2020 season with the signing of 15 year old of Chris Johnson from Croydon, who is moving in to the British championship ranks from a successful campaign in the BEMSEE Ninja Junior Cup series during 2019.

Team principle and development coach Charlie Hall is excited to welcome Chris into the Racecraft fold and says“I’m looking forward to working with Chris, he’s a talented rider and has already proven himself against some of the best young riders in the country. He has great potential for further development, he’s hungry to succeed and open to taking on advice and applying himself. Chris has had plenty of time on the bike over the winter testing in Spain and I believe he’s in a strong position for the start of the British championship.”

The second seat within the squad for the 2020 season has been left vacant for ‘Wildcards riders’ to join the squad and gain British championship experience under the guidance and support of Charlie Hall.

If you’re interested in this opportunity please contact Charlie via the Racecraft website or Facebook page.
