ABOUT US

ABOUT US

I’m Charlie Hall, I have been racing motorcycles of various disciplines for 20+ years.
I have won multiple championship titles, I have also held several lap records, some of
which still stand over 10 years later and have competed in British Superbikes support
classes.

After getting involved with The Scott Redding Young Riders Academy I discovered
that I have an ability build a rapport and understand a rider’s psychological state,
assisting me in getting the most out of our time together. I also have a knack of
explaining techniques in simple layman terms which anyone can understand whether
it be a child or adult.

Racecraft Rider Development was established as a platform to support the drive and
passion I have to produce the next UK success in BSB, WSB or GP’s or to simply
work with a trackday’er on their personal riding goals.

Why should you consider the support I can offer?
Well, in any sport including motorsport coaching is a critical element to success, just
doing the sport with no direction or guidance is not enough. From an early stage
professional input will set you on the right path. Developing an understanding of the
correct techniques racing lines will avoid picking up bad habits and create solid
foundations for advanced skills to be introduced as your riding career progresses.

Call it rider coaching, mentoring, tuition or instructing. Ultimately I see what I do as
Rider Tuning. I am a firm believer in tuning a rider to get the most from their
motorcycle before spending money on bike upgrades and ‘blingy’ bits.

Kev - Charlie Hall's ability to speak with a 5 year old at a level they truly understand. His slick organisation, attention to detail and impressive customer care, whether that be communication during the week before the lesson or his gentle approach during the hour long lesson.

The ratio of track time to lesson time seems about perfect for a new rider of aged 5 as it gives the child time to think about a certain aspect of his track action then come back in to the pits and discuss this with Charlie then go back out out and act on it. All in all I would say even this is a lesson, Charlie makes it as much fun as possible so my son is beaming at the end of it.

5 stars.

We'd just like to say a big thank you to Charlie Hall and Racecraft Rider Development.

Our son, Ronnie, first started riding a minimoto at the Scott Redding Young Riders Academy in Swindon in August. He enjoyed it so much that we booked some one-to-one tuition with Charlie Hall.

Charlie was able to hone in on specific issues and work on different aspects of his technique. The way Charlie has put this to Ronnie has had a huge impact. His body position on the bike, corner speed, braking and confidence has improved considerably, which has made Ronnie enjoy his time on the bike even more. Charlie is always engaging, encouraging and positive in the lessons.

When we started Ronnie on a minimoto just a few months ago, we were hoping it would be a fun hobby for him. We did not imagine that we would be entering him in the rookie class of the Cool Fab championship in a few months time.
